Cheapest way to book a hotel in Vegas?

I am looking for the best and cheapest online booking service to find a 5 star hotel and airfare. I am flying from San fran to LAS VEGAS on Jan 21.

Help!

I use nwaworldvacations.com which is Northwest's site - you can book airfare and hotel packages in one place through them and there are discounts every once in a while. Not sure if they're in your neck of the woods though...

You can also check out a program called TravelAxe which searches a bunch of the popular travel websites at once and provides you with prices for basically every hotel in Vegas at each of them. Pretty cool app, and free.

I'm going to Vegas Jan. 14 - 18, I can't wait! We're staying at The Mirage this time. Last time was Bellagio - I recommend it highly.

bellagio is expensive and nice. i stayed at treasure island using some trip that included airfare and a week's hotel stay. it was like $400. good deal. too bad i was a week away from 21 years old (the oldest in my group of 6 friends), although i looked the youngest and got carded the most 😛

travelaxe is the best... find out which hote is the cheapest, then go directly to the hotel site and book through there.

Thanks for the suggestions fellas! Travelaxe is a cool applet!

Crumpet19: Gotta try that sometime, lol.

Priceline. (Don't know how well it works in Vegas though.)

The only hotel I will use Priceline for in Vegas is The Venetian. It is the only 5 star on the strip on Priceline. I got a night for January 17 last week for $101 plus tax just to see what the rooms are like. If the five star shows on Hotwire for a low price, then Priceline will beat the Hotwire price by about 25%.

I am staying at Treasure Island Jan 13 - 16 and my friend used casino marketing to get the rates for those nights.
