Cheapest way to access HBO GO?

Hello world and all who inhabit it,

My father has recently discovered HBO GO so he's attempting to rewatch the Wire. Problem is that the PC monitor is too small so he is looking to watch on the family room TV. I would go for a Roku but Comcast doesn't let subscribers use it on Rokus. Cheaper is better. Thanks
 
Btw, the Comcast app seems to have all the HBO stuff built in. That brings us back to Android, though, I guess.

edit: whoops, apparently you can't HDMI from the app

HD tablet for personal viewing? all my gadgets run hbo-go, but I use my xbox for tv viewing. I havent tried running the app from my phone and connecting to a tv. Is that possible?
