What is the cheapest way from London to Paris?

But we want to get there reasonably quick!

Ferry maybe? Or EasyJet, fly in the early morning at it's under $30. British Air can also have cheap prices.

Anything BUT the train, it'll cost more from London to Paris than it does New York to London.

BA's still your best bet for advance booking, as I said in your previous thread. SleazyJet are OK, but Luton/Stansted are a bit of a pain.

Easyjet is the cheapest...

what currency is that?

Pounds - they appeared quite sometime before the crossed-out 'S' ($). Think about it - you're asking questions about costs in UK, it's probably not going to be Indonesian Rupiah is it? :D Oh, and it takes around US$1.85 to make one of them currently i.e. the Eurostar price sounds pretty good - and going through a 30 mile tunnel under the sea is fun!

I had to make sure. i am on xe.com using the currency converter. Man the USD is so freaking weak. hahaha

for two people on the eurostar, it will be $180$usd total. that comes to about$ £98.24. this is for both of us.

Oh well, we only ride the train once!
ahhhahaha

Can't chat right now - I'm at work!

The Waldorf is right in the centre - Aldwych in fact. Easiest airport is probably going to be Heathrow since you can pick up the Heathrow Express at Paddington which then only takes 15 minutes to get out to Heathrow (all terminals, BA to Paris operates from Terminal 4). Underground to Paddington from where you'll be is pretty simple - Covent Garden to Piccadilly Circus on Piccadilly Line, then Bakerloo line to Paddington - should take around 20 minutes. Mind you, the Eurostar at Waterloo is only 5 minutes away!

Good decision - you'll enjoy it, the Eurostar is pretty impressive, it runs at 300km/hr (186mph), although last July they broke a UK record during testing, reaching 208mph!

Unfortunately I'm not in London, about 50 miles north :( - thanks for the offer!

I should try to arrange a visit to our factory in France, meet up in Paris :D:beer:
