Cheapest solution that beats X1800XT?

Whats the cheapest video card that outperforms X1800XT 512mb by at least 10-20FPS in most games?

My guess would be 8800GTS 320MB.

The X1950XT may be able to that at the $190 (after rebate) point - the only way to guarantee the margin you're looking for is to go up to a $300 8800GTS 320MB.

I *think* the x1950pro is about the same, maybe slightly faster, than a x1800xt.

Though for a 512mb version, at least at the egg, its ~$180.

So pretty much anything that beats that, beats a x1800.
