Hi,

Do any of you all have any idea what is the cheapest pre-paid cell phone service around?

Thanks

Tmobile. 1000 minute refills for $100 comes out to $.10/minute. Even cheaper if you can get the refills for less.

Yup. I'd get the 1000Minute at start because it gives you 1 Year.

Try to look for deals on the cards, or perhaps ebay:p

What's the cheapest if you only use if for emergencies? I doubt I'd use 1000 minutes in several years.

Uh the thing about Prepaid if you buy the refill with the lowest minutes it will expire. typically 90Days.

Currently T-Mobile offers the best prepaid. It is better to stick with GSM for prepaid as you can switch sim cards to use on another for with ease.

What you can do is get an old sim card and phone. Or even just an old phone. You can make a 911 call by law with sim card/unregistered service. The nearest tower will pick it up and eat the charges.
