so i'm in a dilemma right now because i'm stuck with a crappy rig until ivy bridge come 🙁
i'm currently running a C2D E7400 @ 2.8 (stock because the mobo sucks)
and using the REALLY REALLY old HD4670.

i really want to wait until Kepler from Nvidia comes later w.e amd offers with 28nm, so probably the HD7950 or GTX680

but from what i've been seeing, doesnt look like it'll be soon
so question is what should i put for now until either one hits the market? it has to be:
-cheap
-relatively decent performance (1080p)
-perhaps return guarantee (evga's buyback for example)

thanks guys.

Wait Aug-sept, by then AMD probably has the 7xxx series out or some of it.

Do a intire pc overhaul.
Get new mb/cpu/gpu all at once.

OP I'm thinking it would make sense to get one card now and plan to get another for SLI once you have your new rig. The problem with the GTX 560 is that it will be long gone by then so you'll have to go with a used one if you do it.

i was going to get the 560ti, but have a hard time finding how to sell it.
