Cheapest place to rent a CounterStrike server!?!?

im from minnesota and i want to rent a Dedicated Counterstrike server.

was wondering if u guys could provide me some info..... cheap pls..

around 16-18 ppl....doesnt have to be T1 line...as long as it doesnt lag like crazy....jus the basics...

depends on how many players are on it, bandwidth use, other frills and mods you need. Sometimes, it'd just be cheaper to grab a rackshack box or colocate your own.

Wow...so service providers actually rent these out to clans and such? Didn't know such a service existed...thought you just had to create your own or something!

If there's money to be made, you can be sure that the service exists.

Prices aren't the lowest, but this is actually ONE of the hosts with truly unlimited bandwidth useage AS LONG as it's not "illegal" content.

We used to host a cable server that hosted 20 people ... pings were never over 35ms.

We had a friend run it at his unversity, and all of us on Columbus RR got less than 15ms:Q. Sometimes all of us under 10ms (how is that possible?)

16-18 people is a lot I think in terms of gaming servers. Maybe look into colocating?
