Cheapest place to get eye exam?

usually, at my place, they have it for 49 to 54...but usually, there are coupons that have it for 29 or 39...so check paper...
 
Check for coupons in the paper - especially with school starting up soon, they're bound to have specials going on. I got my eyes checked at the "Independent Optometrist" next to the local Eyemasters for $35 about 5 months ago. My former eye doctor who I got checkups at charged $39 (no tax) at the local Costco. It really shouldn't be any more than $40-50, unless it's for contact lenses or something special.
