Cheapest place for XP-90???

Title says it all.

I wanna get my syystem to 2.7GHZ, but I'm having bad heat issues going that high.

Stock cooler runs 2.5GHZ fine and 2.6GHZ around 50*, but it's just not enough!

The cheapest I could find it was $25 w/o the fan, I was wondering if you guys knew any secret websites I could try 🙂

Also, what's the best fan for the XP-90??

Thanks

the highest I've seen my temp @ 2.6GHZ is 55*C and that made me uneasy.

I tried to run P95 @ 2.7GHZ, it was running fine and then my system auto shutoff, so that tells me it was 60*C under load and that's no good.

$25 is as cheap as you'll get it. Jab-tech and svc both have that price, and I've yet to see anyone cheaper.

The CPU should be good up to 70C. You may need to bump up CPU Vcore or the RAM voltage.

Keep in mind that 55C is based on 25C room temp. Add 1C CPU temp for each degree rise in room temp above 25C. Prime95 at MAX HEAT setting can hit 60C.

I have the automatic shutdown enabled in the BIOS @ 60*C

That's why I know the O/C wasn't too high cause it didn't restart or freeze, it shut off completely.
