cheapest nvidia agp card for dual analog monitors

I know you said nvidia and cheap, but have you considered getting a Matrox G400 or G450. I think Newegg has refurbished G450 now. I love these cards, but they can't really do modern 3d graphics.

I only make this recommendation since you said you won't be gaming. The G400 I once used had great looking 2d and dual head support that might be a lot better than a lot of cheap nvidia dual head solutions.

The G400 isn't that bad of a gaming card for older games like descent 3 and the like. I played quite a few games on it back in the day.

I think, he meant the card must have dual outputs (DVI/VGA and/or DVI/VGA). The one in your link only has one outpust, S-Video doen't count.

I ended up getting a 5500. Now...how do you actually set different resolutions? there is a 19" and a 17" monitor and it is spanned using the max resolution. I saw in the nview properties an option to enable seperate resolutions, but can't find how to do it.

the 19" monitor appears to have to low a resolution. it looks like 640x480 on it and 800x600 on the 17".
