Title basically states it.

Additional details:
I need to add some additional storage to my old Skull Canyon NUC. I want maybe 500GB or more. My current boot drive is a Samsung 850 that is 250GB.

It doesn't need to be fast but I want something more than a USB thumb drive.

Online says M.2 STA or PCIe interface. I don't recall lengths that are compatible.

How cheap can I find something? I want a mild amount of quality.

I'm in US if that helps.

Here in Germany Crucial P1, Kingston A2000, Intel 660p seem to be the best deals for 1 TB at the moment. I would pay a little more for the Kingston one, since the other two will get quite slow after a while when you ever plan to transfer huge amounts of data to them, due to the slow QLC NAND. It also has better write endurance.
For 500GB drives I'd look at the 500GB versions of the Crucial P1 and Intel 660p drives, there are good deals for them here.
All those drives are Nvme, not SATA and have a DRAM cache.
