Cheapest low end gaming notebook

I have a friend who's heading over to Iraq in a couple months (he's not down south for training). My brother & another friend just got back and really liked having a notebook over there to keep in contact with family & friends and to play games during down time.

My friend doesn't want to spend a ton of money yet he wants to be able to play games somewhat OK on it. So, I was thinking a notebook based on the ATI Xpress 200 chipset.
Sempron, Athlon 64, or Turion.
What seems to be the best option out there for that?

Thanks in advance.

while dell doesn't sell laptops with AMD proc's if you surf over to outlet.dell.com you can get the most for you money even tho they are refurb'd items you can get a lot more bang for you buck and they still have a warranty or you can buy a even longer warranty 🙂

I have the HP zv6015 which has the ATI Xpress 200M card i believe in it. And the cpu is an Athlon 64 Ive been able to play some newer stuff like Men of Valor and some of the older goodies like Medal of Honor. HP's are pretty reasonable too.

Compaq Presario V2000Z line of notebooks come with Amd's Turion procs and the ATI Xpress 200 IGP.

If you do decide to go with these, I highly recommend the 12-cell batteries. Get an extra one while you're at it.
