Cheapest Dell computer available?

What is the cheapest notebook (or desktop) Dell system you know of? The cheapest I found was for $499.

I'm trying to find the cheapest system on Dell to buy. A bare Dimension 2400 goes for $499... I wonder if I can order that without the monitor..

You could buy a Dell Dimension 2400 desktop for $573.

Yes it's higher than $499 however it comes with a FREE 15" Dell 151FP LCD upgrade, which you could easily sell for about $200. I sold one last year to an AT'er for $250.

$573 - $200 = $373

When I was working for Micro Center, Intel would hold speacial events etc for discounted cpu/mobo combos for pretty decent price. I wonder if he is referring to this.

FYI, its a "special" voucher. I've heard rumors that theres a "special" website dedicated for selling stuff. Its not Home or Small Business or Large Business, unfortuntately. I've also heard a rumor that this "special" site is mroe expensive than others.

A pity, I was looking forward to the Large Business 30% off that Dell gives Intel.
