Cheapest Blue ray netflix player?

What is the cheapest Blue ray player that will play netflix HD? If it can play movies from my computer that would be a great bonus. It doesn't have to be wireless, though.

One of last year's Samsungs (TD/CompUSA has a refurb 1590 for $100 before Bing CB), but the build quality is iffy. Nice deal if the one you get works, though.

The Sony S370 will do Netflix for about $160 new, and a firmware upgrade in the summer is supposed to enable DLNA (streaming from computer/media server).

The Panasonic BD65 is a few dollars cheaper than the Sony, but there's no prospect of DLNA so I'd get the Sony.

Incidentally, there's a nifty project called Rendr that's basically supposed to turn any BD2.0 player into a DLNA playback device. Pretty cool for $20. 😉

From Rendr website:
"Download speed of all Blu-ray players, through their published software specification (BD-J), is much slower than the LAN speeds. This download speed is sufficient for streaming SD and 720p HD content but not 1080p HD content."

So can Blu-ray players that natively support DLNA stream 1080p content, or is this a limit to Blu-ray players in general. If so, is there a new spec on the way to fix that.

There isn't an inherent limit on Blu-Ray players' DLNA streaming abilities, no. Remember, Rendr is more of a cool hack than something to base your purchasing decisions on.
