cheapest/best place to register a domain

Godaddy

Between $8.95 for a year and $6.95 a year for 10 years.
They also have .ws, .biz, and .info domains starting at ($14.95 x 2 years) = $29.90

Decent place but if you need support from them you have to pay for it.

I've been using totalnic.net for about 2 years now, and they're good. I have to renew my registration soon, it just expired.

wow thats much better than 25 is there any reason why the 25 one is more money like do I get anything less at godaddy? if not why $25?

what do these options mean? I am going to be using road runners website space to hold all my stuff, then im gonna build a server to do it all which should I pick?

Include FrontPage Extensions? Yes No

I would like to park this domain at Go Daddy for free.

I would like to use another hosting provider. I would like to set up my DNS now. (You can set it up later if you wish.)

I need the domain name. I will have road runners 5mb be the host for now then I am going to build a server at my house to be the host and hook it up to my cable line

Then you use the box on the left that says Domain Name and Transfers, and ignore the rest of that website.

ive allready started registering, but its asking me to pick one of these

Easiest way for shorties like yourself would be to use no-ip.com. Of course, that's not how hard bangaz like ourselves do it, but whatever...
