Cheapest, best digital camera?

Looking to spend under 100$. 🙂

My girlfriends mom has a Kodak DC3200 1.0megapixel camera and it seems to take pics just fine.

100? just go film, or bump to around 200 for a canon a40

or just fs/ft for used cams

That kinda negates the whole purpose of a digital camera.

It appears that there are some very cheap DC3200's on ebay.. but I seriously doubt its the best cheap camera.

But sadly, my mother's computer's weird and won't let me open any "pop up" windows. I dunno if it's a program my brother installed or if my mom's computer just sucks (I'm voting for the latter)...so uh..no PM.

Unless you can help me figure out why i can't PM...no PM's for nativesunshine... 🙁

They have a MX-1200 1.3MP, its a good simple point shoot camera that's less then $100

Maybe try ebay for a used one, you'll probably get more bang for the buck than a new one.

Get the Kodak DC3200 or the DC3230 (? not sure about number). The DC3200 takes OK pics. It's 2MP IIRC.

I would recommend a Fuji FinePix A101. 1.3 MegaPixels 1.6inch LCD monitor, takes 1280x960 picture with 2xDigitalZoom(no optical zoom 🙁) but hey, it's cheap! 😉

I bought it on Ebay for $70 NEW. I haven't had any problem with it and it's good for point and shoot.

The A40 is the best digicam but nope that's still not the right answer.

But would you be able to afford $150 for a digicam which is easily two steps ABOVE the 3200?

Otherwise I'll sell you my Argus DC3200 for $70 shipped.
