I think all the ultra's of all brands have dual dvi. Do any of the GT's have it? or the plain old 6800's have it?

Some GT's will have dual DVI.. You will have to look around and also wait awhile though.

Im not really sure off the top of my head. I know buy.com had a sale on 6800's and 6800gts. Maybe those have the dual DVI? Id check into that cuz that seems to be the cheapest that u can buy either card at right now. Just check their specs page on the cards.

I think they were PNY. The PNY 6800 and 6800GT have 1 DVI, 1 VGA, but the PNY 6800U had dual DVI. I was wondering if all brands were going to follow this pattern.

If you're going by the picture, that one has 2 power connectors which means that it's probably an ultra. On specs they say VGA Output: Yes. I've been looking for a dual-DVI GT myself, so far nothing :(

[EDIT]
Look at #7: D-Sub, TV-out and DVI

crap. and they've since changed the picture.

back to looking for a cheaper solution than a 6800 ultra.

it looks like dabs is incorrect as the xfxforce site shows the gt as having a vga and a dvi in its description.

bummer

alright. looks like I found it.

XFX 6800 128mb at Newegg for $286 shipped.

Its at a lot of other places as well, but this is the cheapest.

I was hoping I'd find a GT with it, but haven't. I'm going to wait maybe a week and see if prices drop any or any reviews come out for specific brands as the heatsink on this think looks rather puny.

Dude, XFX seems to be a lame company. There website just 'doesnt have enough content'. No support. Looks like something in the development stage. So how good is there card. And they sell them at Wally-World. So go figure. Looks their XFX 6800nu is dvi/analog, from looking at the picture.
I assume all 6800nu's are STOCK cards in differnt colors. At this stage, I'd like to see a 6800nu with 256ram. :)

I dont know why, but I get the feeling these card were 'pushed' out the door... maybe for D^3

I would like to find a 6800NU with 256meg also. Anyone know of one coming out. The xfx 6800nu looks to have some good games to. Atleast better than most.

You know, right now I'm actually considering getting the same card and saving $100... If only it had 256MB f RAM I wouldn't be thinking about it this much :(
