Ehh, those are $20 like the Noctua Fans. It also has a 1 year warranty compared to Noctua's 6.

That's because the Venturi line is their "high pressure" fans that are intended to be used on heatsinks and radiators.

Their basic case fan are these:

WIth fans you have cheap, then you have good, and rarely are the two ever found together. Any less, you get into sleeve bearing or ball bearing fans.

You can also look at the Noctua Redux line:

Here's a 140mm case fan roundup you can look at, and see if there is a cheaper one that will work for your needs.

Sounds like he is just looking for a cheap free balling fan without pressure to me :)

Have a few cheapo AC fans in non restricted areas on the main rig, they move a fair amount of air, are quiet, and have held up well over time on a 24/7 rig.

They are even fluid dynamic bearings.

Yah, in the front and top of Phanteks Enthoo Pro M

They should be pretty decent for that. The Noctua fans will pull a little bit better thru a filter, but unless you are planning on running them at full speed, they'll be pretty good as intakes. I use two Noctua NF-A14 FLX as intakes on my computer, and even at 700 RPM they keep everything cool.

That arctic fan looks pretty good. It's not PWM, but it is cheap, and supposedly has a 6 year warranty.

I have to look up sone though...

I wouldn't put those on a cooler though.

Have Noctuas on mine also myself on a few rigs myself that work well.

Scythe, Fractal and BeQuiet! are some of the best and also cheap. Noctua is very good but also expensive.

Do you guys know anything about this one?

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835856027

The specs look good to a novice anyways,

  • Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB)
  • 100% rubber-cover de-vibration
  • Detachable fan impeller
  • PWM
  • MTBF: 100,000 hours
  • Dustproof, Waterproof, Oil-leakage proof
  • Noise Level 17.6~26.7dB(A)

  • 700±200~1200±10%RPM

  • Air Flow 71.8CFM
  • Warranty
  • Limited Warranty period (parts): 3 years
  • Limited Warranty period (labor): 3 years
The only downside I see from the reviews is that the mounting system isn't standard, and some people are having issues getting them to fit properly into their cases.

No experience with it, but it seems on the louder side. 17 dB at 700 RPM.

Just spend the extra couple $'s and get a known good fan (the case fan round up I linked to earlier). Good quality fans like Noctua should last you at least 6 years.
