Cheap XPS

Hey!

Sorry, n00b jumping on the bandwagon. I want to get a nice laptop, for under 1700$ I'm seriously thinking of the new XPS, but I've heard that you can't use the good coupons on them. for a 750 off 2000 I could get a good deal on one of those beasts. Is there a better alternitave? I've heard you can get a 17" inspiron with similar specs.

One last question, where do you get these 750 off 2000 and 750 off 1500? How much do they usually run ya? WHat are the rules for using them?

For gaming? No budget? You can get Sager or Alienware notebooks close to this.

Incorrect. Right now they cap out with an X1400. Previously they had the much better Go 7800 which still doesn't compete with the 7900 GTX.

They're free. Check sites like Fatwallet for them.

An X1600 or Go7800 would be more thana dequate to run WoW and CS:S. If you want much more power than that, then it's gonna cost you a hefty premium.

Where do these coupons come from? Does dell randomly mail them out to customers or something?
