Cheap, Wireless N Access Point

My router is in the basement and it somewhat limits the range. Because of the devices that I have hardwired to the router I will have to leave it in the basement. So I am looking for an inexpexpensive, yet reliable access point. It won't be used for anything other than internet on a couple of laptops and cell phones.

What is everyone using on the cheap?

Netgear WNR2000, or Cisco E2500 are both good and cheap, and can take DD-WRT.

If you want something a bit higher-end ($150-200 range), the Asus RT-N66U and RT-AC66U are well-regarded.

Thanks for the tip.

I just noticed in Hot Deals that I can get a refurb WNR2000 for about $20 and hope that it's V2 or V3. I figure the worst thing that can happen is I have a a backup router in case my D-Link goes down so I ordered it. Looking forward to learning how to set up DD-WRT. I don't think I need fancy, just something I can move out of the basement for better coverage out to my deck.
