Cheap wireless keyboard and mouse

I considering getting cheap keyboard or mouse, should i go for it for internet PC?
E.G. Logitech Cordless Internet Pro USB OEM or Logitech Deluxe 650 Cordless Desktop USB OEM.

Also question about receiving signal, if i got keyboard on removable tray under table and mouse on top of table, wont there be problem with receiving signal for one of them because they separated by wooden plate?
 
I just started using a Logitech MX3200 It has been better than I expected and works well from 8 ft the wood desk top doesn't seem to make any difference to it.

I've used a couple of Logitech wireless mouse+keyboard combos and never had any problems transmitting throught the wooden desktop. There is some slight signal loss, especially as you move away from the reciever, but for internet browsing that shouldn't be an issue. Wireless mice will take a moment to respond if you haven't moved them recently, but it is nice to get away from the desk and still have control. 😀
