cheap way to share files across usb?

is there a cheap adapter I can buy that will let me connect two usb hosts and share files between them? preferably something that will make the shared stuff show up as a usb mass storage device on the other machine.
 
Yeah, you can buy USB networking thingies. Check NewEgg. Don't know how well they work though, and data transfer will be fairly slow. You're probably better off getting a USB drive (128MB Sandisk @ Best Buy for $30 this week) though. Or, you know, getting a crossover cable and a couple NICs and doing it that way.
