Cheap Video Card

For my mother's birthday I want to get her a second monitor for her PC. However her PC only supports VGA and only has one port. So I'm trying to find a fairly cheap video card that would make it so she could run dual monitors. Hopefully less than $100. Any help would be great.

Thanks

EDIT: It will prob have to be dual VGA.

What monitor are you getting her? I would highly recommend a dual-dvi card since they are mostly newer and cheaper, and an adapter will work just fine for dvi to d-sub. This is also a more future-proof solution since the card can be used properly in future configs with digital LCD monitors.

Also, what slots are available? If you don't know, at least post the computer name and model number.

EDIT >> My recommendation, provided you have an available PCI-E slot. Great price, latest generation gpu, and even comes with one dvi to d-sub adapter.

Just curious, what's with all the expensive recommendations (especially the 4830 - that's MASSIVE overkill for non gaming use)? Wouldn't it be simpler to just get a dirt cheap $20 or less card with dual outputs?

The OP never said he wanted the cheapest, and he actually gave a budget of $100. If you can find a decent dual-dvi card for $20 that is as future-proof or better than the one I linked then go for it.

The 4650 does not require a 6-pin PCI-E power connector (4830 does), has dual-dvi with one d-sub adapter, is HDCP compliant with HDMI out (via adapter, not included), and can handle HD video.
