cheap Vegas trips?

Hey all, got a question that requires your expertise. Me and a few friends want to plan a cheap trip to Vegas. We will not be blowing (much - like 100 at most) gambling. Any good ways to find cheap deals out there? What the best time to travel in the december - early january time frame work?

Thanks all

supposedly on sept. 11th they had uber-cheap airfare over there. dont know if it happened this past year though.
edit: as in, they may be doing it next year, if you want to wait.

just goto your nearest toilet and flash your 100$ down, and then told everyone that you went to vegas and it was awesome, and you would do it again soon!

Ask Dezign, she seems to be the queen of cheap vegas trips....don't ask her for blackjack tips though 😉. Anyway I always look at the normal sites like expedia, orbitz, hotels, etc. I'm sure the cheapest time to go to Vegas is in the summer b/c it is like 110 degrees during the day and gets down to a freezing 80 at night. Other than that avoid going during holidays and check to make sure there are no big conventions there.

wow thanks alot jackass...you totally answered all of my questions!

december up until like dec 20th is super cheap for vegas. the downside is a lot of shows are "dark" or not performing because it is their break, and then they gear up again for christmas and new years.

i went last year the week after finals. two nights at treasure island = 45 bucks a night. woot!
