Prime, not choice, if I'm reading that correctly.eh not really. get to $6/lb and we'll talk. and that's for steaks, no need to buy a whole primal.
I'm reading it correctly. Benefit of living in Texas, HEB puts out prime NY strip at $6/lb a couple times a year. Every other week it's 8.99 or 9.99/lb, again, no need to buy the whole primal.Prime, not choice, if I'm reading that correctly.
For ballers here who want the very best, Costco website also has authentic Japanese Wagyu A5 grade, 12 pound ribeye for $900 until 12/18/16. At $75 per pound, that's the cheapest price for Wagyu A5 ribeye I've ever seen for sale

Costco USDA Prime beef loin whole NY Strip deal is back! This time it's $25 off the package price and $8.49 /lb before the discount. I chose the small 12 pound package. After the $25 discount, I paid about $6.40 /lb for USDA Prime NY Strip. The sale is good through 12/18/16 so check your local Costco this weekend for the deal. I'll probably go back Saturday or Sunday and buy another.
