I am currently invloved with a presentation for one of my IST classes. In regards to my presentation, I plan to allocate a portion of it to conduct a hands-on activity with the class. This activity requires the use of a USB thumb drive. Would any of you happen to know where I can obtain relatively cheap, inexpensive USB thumb drives, enough for everyone in my class, about 15 students in total. I looked at Newegg, and found that their cheapest flash drives were about $8.49 a piece.

Newegg's Cheapest USB Thumb Drives

They don't need to be anthing special, and storage can be as little as 64mb.

Thanks. =)

That is about as cheap as I can find anywhere. It still comes to about $127.35 for 15. Would the class sponsor spring for that?

Or . . . make it a pre-requisite that each student bring his or her own USB flash drive to the class.

I think I saw 5-packs of 128 Mb drives at Costco 2 weeks ago for about $30. Did anyone else see anything like that?
