Yeah, that vid card will work. What program are you using to play the video though? You might want to check out some other programs before you get the card. Your cpu may be holding you back as well, depending on the program you use.

which vid card will work, the HD 4350???

i use both windows media player classic and VLC media player to play 1080p movies..

i also have the opteron 165 slightly overclocked.. prob from 1.8ghz to 2.0ghz

however the sapphire i posted has HDMI.. also the XFX uses DDR2 memory whereas the sapphire uses GDDR3.. is there a big difference?
