cheap tv, high pitched sound, arrghhh! my ears!

Ughhhhhhh, bought a cheap 20 inch tv from Kmart (100 bucks) last night... Some brand I never heard of - Haier... With the volume turned all the way down, the high pitched sound that comes out of some tv's is unbearable! And, since it's just for the bedroom, the volume will never be high enough to drown out that sound... (not that I find it acceptable) It's going back. I guess you get what you pay for... I'll have to find a different 19 or 20 incher for the bedroom.

Anyone have a brand recommendation for a cheap tv for a bedroom?

Hitting it works sometimes. Its possibly a bad flyback. Not much you can do about it.
