Cheap tablet for video

I am looking for a cheap tablet for watching movies. I'd like a decent 720P screen. That's essentially the only use, watching video. It doesn't need to be new, used as fine. I am looking to spend the least amount as possible. Used touchpads are going pretty cheap. Any of the offbrand Chinese tablets have decent screens?

i dont screen is the problem. the problem has always been the tablet. all android tablets i played with always have issues with some vid files, especially mkv. for instance, audio sync issue, audio not even playing! and if audio is playing, video stutters all over. MX player and some other apps....
i too would love to know a tablet that can handle all the video formats known to mankind!

If it doesn't play all files types that's not a huge deal, I can encode into whatever but MKV support would be preferred. I just need something with a decent screen and the horsepower to play 720P files.
