Not spam! I saw this on another deal site, and signed up for their service myself just earlier tonight.

I have been paying $50/mo + tax for T-Mobile pre-paid service.

If you go with MintSim, that same service is like $16.xx/mo, if you pre-pay for a year ($199.99).

Seems like a decent savings to me. Who knows if they'll be around in a year or two from now, though.

I don't know if they support T-Mobile's wifi calling, or Visual Voicemail. Also, they prohibit Tethering in their TOS.

They also offer a few unlocked phones on their site.

Might check it out if you want a cheap cell.

I don't get why 3 months is cheaper per month ($11.67/m) than buying a year in advance ($16.58/m). If that means that you only get promo rate for 3 months and then the price goes up, that's just bait and switch tactics.

I'm currently on prepaid tracfone where I pay ~$8 per month, but I don't use my phone much and I use wifi/wifi calling wherever possible. I could see myself switching to $11.67 per month, but not $16 which is double what I pay.
