Okay, I recently got a new graphics card, but it refuses to work nicely with my POS mobo (Ali M1541 - Aladdin V).

I currently own:

So, I am wondering where is the best place I can find a Super Socket 7 mobo to go with my k6III? or should I get a cheap duron + mobo?

CASH IS LIMITED!!

Also, i think i have 100mhz ram in my computer... anyway to find out if it really is 100 mhz ram?? also, if i upgrade to a new mobo, will it accept this old ram??

Thanks for all the help.

Whaz your budget? It's gonna be tough because you probably will need a new case/ps for even a Duron also, so I'd get:

ECS K7VZA rev3 if you aren't gonna oc $62 on pricewatch.com
a Retail Duron 750 for $50 on pricewatch.com
Look for a good 300W ps case, should be able to find one for $40-50

And yes, you probably are using PC100, and yes you can use it with a Duron, it just wont perfrorm as well. ECS K7VZA has gotten some very good reviews as a stable, high performing, and very inexpensive board, the only catch is ocing options. You may not see much ECS on these Fourms but I have an ECS board, and I needed a cheap, but good board and they delivered, and I'm very satisified with it.
