Cheap Super ATX case

I am in the market for a new or used cheap server grade case. I acquired an IBM super ATX dual slot1 board and wish to put it to use. The case only needs to fit the board, a couple of HD's, a few adapter cards and a cdrom. Any idea where to obtain one online?

This motherboard is 13" at the bottom then goes vertical for 6.5". I am trying to not make it too tight since the IDE connections are right at the top of the extended part. It looks as if both HD cages will have to be removed just to get the motherboard to fit. The search continues.

Describe what you mean by bottom and by "then goes vertical for 6.5""... I can't picture it in my mind. I hope that you don't mean that there is a piece of the mobo that is at right angles to the main part - If that's the case then you'll have a tough time finding a standard case that fits. Do you have a link to a picture of it?

That would be the standard "Super ATX" motherboard. From the side its shapped like an "L". Its basicly a server/high end workstation board.

kamran - those have no chance of fitting his mobo. This is similar to what his mobo looks like: Linkage

I think that Sky Hawk case would fit. If you notice, the hard drive bracket and the floppy spaces are offset to the left side about as much as possible. The hard drive bracket is held in by screws, so you could move it even farther to the left if necessary - I took some of the supernumerary thumbscrews on mine and mounted the HD bracket with them - very easy out and in. Mine has another nice feature - pre-drilled, 1x1" square mountings for caster plates. And it has a mobo drawer so you can mount the mobo outside of the case and slide it in. I doubt you'll find anything else anywhere near that price except for used - and then the shipping would kill...

Here is the exact motherboard here . I went to sell it but decided in the dual processor mode it would make a great starter web server I could tinker on. The motherboard you linked to would be a little larger on the foot print but the same principle.

Yup, I'm pretty sure the Sky Hawk would hold that. You'd just have to support the board while you're plugging in your IDE cables. Or you could rig your own custom standoffs to support that L piece. What's the measurement along the longest (the one just past the last PCI connector - which would normally be at the bottom of the case) edge?
