I'm looking for some el cheapo stereo receivers to dink around with. Like > $50, just basic stuff. Surfing ebay right now, any brand suggestions?
 
Sherwood RD-6105, its not <$50, its $77. Its a good receiver that also does 5.1 and DTS surround. Got it for my parents this past holiday season. It works great as a budget receiver.

Yah, I have that one, thanks to JokerSmoker 🙂 I just want a couple old stereo receiver to dink around with for electronics and DIY speaker purposes. The Sherwood belongs in the living room, hehe.
