Hi,
I'm upgrading my rig to Opteron (since it's so cheap now!) so I will have left over CPU from my current system (A64 3200+). I will upgrade my GF system which is a old Dell (Celery 1.8, 256MB, 30GB HDD).
So, I don't need something fancy, just basic. On-board video is preferrable (she's no gamer). On-board LAN can be 100Mbits (no gigabit needed). Any on-board audio is OK.
*But* stability is a must.
I have no plan to OC at all. Got left over RAM (Corsair value select 2 x 512MB) to put on this system.
Planned to put this in Antec NSK4400, which comes with PSU.

Thanks

I would look at the ATI Radeon XPRESS 200 or NVIDIA GeForce 6150 are the newest but also have been around long enough to get the bugs out. OEMs use them quite a bit. Should be able to get a mATX board with one of them for $50-60
