Cheap SSD 128 GB drive

Hello,
I'm on budget I need something for around $100. I am thinking about:
- Samsung SSD 840 (i'm worried about low writie performance and lack of rack 2.5" -> 3.5" - it's BULK wersion)
- OCZ Vertex 4
- Samsung SSD 830 - the cheapest

Anything else is worth to look at at this price level? Thanks in advance for recommendations.

My rig:
3770k @ 4.5 GHz
ASUS P8P67 B3
GeForce GTX 680 by NVIDIA
16 GB RAM 1600 MHz
X-Fi Xtreme Gamer
Chieftec 700W 80+

We're talking about 120-128 GB versions here. So Sammy 830 should work for me? 🙂

That was my point... the 830 is a very solid drive, it should work well.

Given all the drives out there right now, I'd buy an 830 256GB if I could find one (at a reasonable price.) :'(

I didn't say I want outdated hardware. ;-) It must be cheap and as fast as possible. Looks like Samsung 830 is a clear winner in this battle. I am thinking about OCZ too because it's only slower than 840 Pro... Damn it.

Crucial M4, any Plextor, Samsung 830, and some Intel drives (330 series if you don't mind Sandforce, X-25M G2 or something like that, if you do) should do fine.

The 830's look to be drying up somewhat. Some pretty good deals have already passed so it's a who knows if any more hotter deals will pop up with them.

Currently Amazon has the 128gb for $110 free shipping....About $15-20 or so above hot deal pricing I believe.

Part number shows it's the desktop upgrade kit which includes mounting adapter so it's a plus if needed anyways.

Description and photos on Amazon show as the laptop upgrade kit. Guess worst case senario you get the laptop kit which includes the USB adapter which to me would be more valuable than the mount anyways.

EDIT: Dead now....When I posted this Amazon had 12 left in stock.
