cheap speaker stand recommendation ?

I need a cheap speaker stand that will hold a pair of bookshelf speaker (small one)

anyone know where can I find one cheap, or DIY easily ?

I built my own once. 2 sheets of plywood...one on top, one on the bottom....2 supports in the middle evenly spaced

coated it black, worked pretty good.

IKEA sells some nice cheap ones too, but doubt there's a store near you (if your info is correct)

I remember someone saying that Ikea had decent speaker stands at good prices.

If you want to DIY, there's lots of different ways. One good way would be to get 2 pieces of MDF (one as a base, one where the speaker will sit), and for the piece connecting them, get sonotube (the stuff that's a form for concrete), and use that as a middle.
Fill it with sand and enjoy a very damped, very expensive otherwise, speaker stand
