Cheap Sound Card

I cant seem to shake the static coming from my onboard sound. It comes from the front jacks and the rear. different drivers dont help either. Will pretty much any cheap sound card do me well? 99.9% of my use comes from a headset and mic for gaming and some music, almost never hook up the speakers.

Im not sure what your asking for....

Did you try your headset and mic in a stereo or another PC?
If your looking for a cheap sound card, I have one for $5 shipped, PCI slot type.

Chaintech AV-710 is a good fairly cheap (~$30) card for stereo output.

If you really want quality sound, then I would get something better than a "cheap" card.
