I think coke is on sale in Shoprite now. It's 4, 12 pack cases for $8.
Also you can get 3% for your upromise account if you have registered.

Argh! Looks as though OD has wised up. Even when ordering by item number and using the catalog item numbers, I still get the 3.79 price. Booo.

Albertson's is having a similar 'one day' deal on Friday the 9th, any type of Coke product (including Fanta), 5 for $10.

All Pepsi products at Kroger: $1.89/12 pack almost every week

Pop must be really expensive in certain parts of the country because this "deal" keeps getting posted when you can do better at most grocery stores.

If your state has deposit (like $0.05 in NY), then even at $1.88/12 pack, you are really paying $1.88+ $0.60 deposit + (8%) tax. that makes it $1.88 + ~$.15 tax + $.60 deposit = $2.63/12 pack.

you may be lucky living in a state without deposit, but $0.50 is a decent extra savings here.

Nope...no deposit here. I'm double lucky because I live near the state line of Michigan and can take my cans and stuff them into their depost machines 😀 (j/k....I'm not ballsy enough to try that)

half of the 17 cases of brisk iced tea that i got last year are still in the garage.... you get sick of it real quickly.

Big deal, why buy all that pop at once, it has an expiration date ya know, probably only a few months away.

Seriously, do you really believe the expiration date? I can't believe people are buying into that. Come on
people it's sugar and carbonate water in a sealed air-tight can. Can you say marketing gimmick?

Soda is bad for you because it will eat away your teeth and also make you sugar concentrated. You will probably have headaches after drinking all those cokes and pepsi's.

Yeah....if you drink it all at once. It's not like people are going to start downing a 12 pack a day because of the big supply....jeeze.

yes, it's $2.99 w deposit already included. This makes it $1.79 per case after deposit and i usually throw a coupon in there. My best has just over 5 cents a can. I wish i had PAB's vending machine to make a profit off this 😀

Is there something wrong with drinking a 12 pack/day? 😱

This week at Giant food in Northern VA they have Coke products for $2 a case. Most of the stores I have been to have been out of the regular Cokes so get a rain check.

$2.00 per CASE? A "case" of soda is 24 cans, not 12. Twelve in a package is a 12-pack. Now if you're talking $2 per 12-pack, I can get that price any day here in the Tampa area. In fact, right now Kash N Karry has Pepsi products for $1.99 per 12-pack and Albertson's has Coke products for $3.99 per 24-pack.

I used to drink a 6 pack a day in college. It didn't do anything except for gaining weight.

Now, I'll drink a 6 pack in 2 weeks... much better for your health.

I don't think drinking excessive soda will kill you, there are so many other factors in life that will affect your health and kill you faster.

Some areas seem to have the $2 per 12-pack sale more than others. I'm in Richmond, VA, and that kind of sale usually occurs 2-3 times a year. Sometimes more.
I always buy in bulk at that price for Coke products. Let's see, this past June I bought about 120 12-packs. The grocery store (Ukrops) even delivered them to my car on a palette, so I didn't have to spend forever carrying 20 at a time in a cart. Fortunately, most stores have given up the limit of 4 or such.

As for whether Coke is good for you, well, who really cares. I don't plan to live until I'm 120 anyway. I'd rather be happy drinking Coke, eating charcoal grilled meat, and smoking cigars than spend my whole life fearing cancer causing substances only to be hit by a car in 10 years. Seriously. Besides, doesn't eveything cause cancer nowadays?

Well, this deal isn't dead, but it isn't as sweet as it was. I live in MI so deposit here is .10 a can.

3.79 x 14 = 53.06 - $15 = $38.06
15 x 1.20 deposit = $18
$38.06 - $18 (deposit return) = $20.06 / 14 = $1.43 per case with free delivery

No complaints here. 🙂
