Seeing as January is a 3 paycheck month for me, I was considering going on a ski vacation with my extra paycheque.

Does anyone know of any sites with discount ski vacations, specifically with departures from Toronto? If I can't have any snow here, I guess i'll just go where the snow is!
 
Try this site (Skican).

Lake Louise will probably be absolutely freezing in mid-January, so
your best bet would be somwhere in BC. I'm personally heading to
Whistler/Blackcomb, Sun Peaks and Big White this January.
 
Where abouts in Canadia are you again?

A friend is going to be skiing there sometime in February and I have no clue where anything is.

Not too bad. In order of west to east, the provinces are: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario (where I am), Quebec, and the Maritime Provinces.

I want to go out west, but i'll probably end up going by myself because my roommates are cheap and blow all of their money (an impressive amount) on car parts and beer. 😀

If there are enough skiers around here, maybe we should organize a AT ski trip!
 
Could always try Mont Temblent. Ok it's not as big as the hills here out west but I've heard good things about it.

If your coming out west I would go to Lake Louise. I've been there in January and it was pretty warm when I went. I prefer it over W/B.
 
Tremblant has some great terrain, but it doesn't get a lot of snow and it's expensive as
hell for Canadians (think Whistler prices, without Whistler mountain, snow or hundreds
of cute Aussie chicks ). If you can't leave the east, the best skiing place in Canada is Mont
Sainte Anne (which is roughly 30 minutes NE of Quebec City).

i did this last year. prices not bad. hella fun in Steamboat. best to go with alot of freinds.

BTW if you are gonna be looking for women its a no go . 🙁 most women their are with bf. 🙁
