I have a computer, that's running 768mb of kingston value ram. It has two 256mb sticks of 400mhz, and one 256mb stick of 266mhz. With all three sticks in it won't boot at either 266 or 400, but it seems to like 333mhz. The bios has a turbo setting for the memory timings which is where I've kept it for more than 3 months now. Only recently did I take a look at what the turbo timings acually were. It looke like this,
Row-Active Delay 7
Ras-to-Cas Delay 2
Row precharge delay 2
Row-Active Delay 2.5
Aren't these pretty good timings? I'd say they were really good except for the 7 at the top. What is Row-Active Delay anyway, And could I adjust these timings for better performance or is this the best I could hope for given my configuration? Thanks
