There seem to be so many printer threads these days, that I thought I'd post this, even though most people probably know.

Sam's club has a 2 pak of gold A/B USB cables for $7. 6 ' Stratitec brand.

Big lots has single packs of Interex brand cables not gold tipped, (USB or parallel) for $5 ea. These were 16' I believe. Biglots is related to Picnsave and Macfrugals- so it might be a little different where you live.

<< FYI - pcliquidator sells printer cables for 99 cents >>

If you have a MicroCenter around.. they have cables on sale too.

I was with my parents getting a new computer at Circuit City...we needed a printer cable, too. We were in a slight hurry so we just told the sales guy to do it....I checked the receipt later on...the cable was $54 or something really absurd. ha. That was before I became an Anandtecher and learned not to trust Circuit City. :)
