cheap place to get tickets for a student?

It helps to know people who work for airlines... I can fly anywhere in the US for about $20, $50 if I want first class...

Over seas is never cheap.

Your only definate way to get things cheaper is to schedule months in advance. Even 3 months isn't going to be cheap.
 
I'm not sure about domestic flights, but Student Travel Agency (STA) usually has good rates for international flights. Maybe give them a call...

Because a startling number of industries are willing to sacrafice profit now so that we get acclimated to using their products and services and thus continue to throw money at them when we get older.
