Cheap PCI vidcard w/ sharp output? (2d only is fine)

I need a cheap (sub-$50) PCI card, that has excellent image quality up to 1280x960. Doesn't have to do 3d, even. What would you recommend?
 
dont get the radeon 7000. its doesn't support that rez for some reason which is what i want for my 19Incher
