OK someone I work with wants a cheap PC that will work quickly to do word processing, and make huge documents. So I thought, a slow processor, and lots of RAM would be a good combination, as well as lots of RAM on a cheaper video card. In any case when looking for such a configuration from DELL, they really did not have anything like it.
Who sells computers like this (i.e. a 1Ghz-1.2Ghz). I thought about trying to sell her my old p3 450 w/ 400MB of RAM and then buying a new video card, but I think she wants something "New" b/c some people are like that you know.
Anyway I would appreciate a link to someone who builds something like I said. I would rather have an older type system that was good than a "fast" system that has corners cut with crappy motherboard and the like.
