Cheap Pagers

I'm looking for a cheap pager and plan for as cheap as possible. I know you guys are going to say that's so 1990 or something, but I really don't need a cell phone. If I did have one, I would probably rarely use it. I'm looking for as cheap as possible...Thanks

To be honest, you are better off getting a cell phone. Even if you dont get it, most come with text paging/messaging, and the cost is very close to a paging plan. It's well worth the couple of extra bucks each month. Find any cheap $19.99 plan and you'll be set.

I actually have one right in front of me. All it does is receive pages and works.. If your interested, Ill trade you something for it or we can work out a deal.....

$20 a month vs. $~7-8 a month is a difference. On those prepaid cell phones, do the minutes run out at the end of the month or can you use them for up to like a year...If they don't run out I would jump on that

Timex has some watch's with a pager built in. I would go with the Internet Messenger watch. You can get it for a little under a hundred and it should come with 1 year of Skytel service. There was a hot deal where you could get it at Wal-Mart for $70 but I'm not sure if it is still going on.

I've used them & been real happy with them, now I have one of the evil cell phones.

I hate to bump a 2 week old thread, but I'm actualy looking for a cheap pager service in Greensboro NC. I could afford a cell phone if I wanted, but I don't want people to be able to speak to me whenever they want.

actualy, I decided to stop being lazy and actualy do a google search,
