do you know any online t-shirt businesses that print t-shirts for cheap? i'm looking to get t-shirts for my dad's construction businesses to advertise dad's business. also, i'm not sure if they can print individual employee's name on the front of the shirt. and at last, i don't want cafepress.

here is what i'm looking for:
-navy blue t-shirts with white letters on front and back.
-individual employee's name on the front and the company information on the back.
-about 10 t-shirts.

any helps will be appreciated. deals/coupons included would be sweet as well.

p.s. my last post before i go to bed for work.

Your best bet is to go to your local embroiderer. You buy the shirts, bring 'em in, and they probably won't charge you more than $5-$10 for all the work on each shirt (depending on how much work it actually is). It may be cheaper if it's a big order.

Names on the front of T-shirts will just look stupid and tacky.

My dad has nice collared shirts he wears when he is going to do estimates for his company. Much better looking than crappy T-shirts. T-shirts are great for working, but don't go all out and put names on them and such.

i work for my dad's construction business so i don't think collar shirts would be great. i might be omitting the names on the front to save money.

so far, i'm still looking for cheap online business that can produce t-shirts.

I think the cheapest route is to buy plain shirts and goto a print shop that'll do silk screening. If you really want to do it on the cheap, bring the printed designs in black to a large art supply store and buy a screen and do it yourself. It's not hard at all so long as you keep things straight.

I was in the market for 5 sports shirts and bought cutter bucks and had the logo embroidered for 6 bucks a logo.

however in my search i came across Broder they have what you are looking for and comparable prices. i just got their catalog in the mail a week ago and its nice to have it in paper to just browse while taking a dump and get ideas.

It is much cheaper to buy the shirts then take them to a local embroiderer/screen print shop. if you have the shirt supplier do your printing they will charge you up the ass. for example the different suppliers all wanted 70.00 just for a setup fee to do my embroidery. like i said above the local shop i took them to was only 6 bucks a shirt and she cleaned up the image on her computer before she printed them. no setup fee at all. so thats my advice.

I work at a custom screen printing/iron on/embroidery shop and we put names on the majority of shirts for companies. It doesn't look stupid, but the shirts would look fine without names too.

Wow, thanks for the broder link. I've decided to go with them and order shirts wholesale, and then get them printed. Thing is, I'm in Alaska, and don't know of any places that do screenprinting around here. The ones I've seen that you take your own shirts to them tend to be a little spendy just for one colour. Anyone know a good place where I can have the shirts sent and they can print on them?

I've been doing Cafepress, but I can only print on white/grey shirts (no dark fabric) which is stupid, and I only make $1-2 profit on each shirt I sell, and then on top of that, they take a cut, and then I'm federally taxed. Cafepress is a ripoff.

So if anyone knows a good place that will do screenprinting for a rather cheap price, and works with darker fabrics (brown, gold, black, etc) let me know!

Honestly, you'd be better off going to the shop and ordering the shirts yourself (if they do that, I'd be willing to bet they do though). We get stuff from Broder, Virginia T's, Augusta, etc all the time for customers. Plus the business will like it if you buy everything though them, and you won't have to bother with a service charge for bringing in the shirts.

Yeah, I'd definately love to do that, as it's a one-stop-shop kind of deal, but it seems they charge a lot more for the shirts themselves when you buy them that way.
