My mother is looking to buy a notebook.. and she wanted me to look around for her. Where she works, they have a thing where they pay the company for the computer and then take so much off her pay cheque. She is allowed to buy any computer from any store in Canada... it must be in Canada.
She wants to get a notebook that "looks sharp" and is fast/reliable for around $1,000 - $1,500 canadian. I was looking at Dell.ca.. tried building a few custom ones in there, but they just come with too much crap.. they make you add Windows XP and a bunch of other software titles.. and the price came to over $2,000 or more for not much of a notebook. Does anyone have any idea where I could look for a good deal on a notebook in Canada?
