I have only used this for two months and already some keys are giving the death rattle. I know I am a fairly heavy use but isn't this a bit fast?
I feel a bit stoopid cos I always thought it felt cheap too.
I remember something on the box about famed microsoft reliability... pardon me??!

whats does nuf said suppose to mean. I dont think you've said enough. Why should he get a logitech? What do you think is the reason for why his keyboard is already failing? Will switching to a logitech make any difference in the way he uses his keyboard?

in my experience, Logitech is generally associated with better quality, spcially in mouse and keyboard. I am not saying Microsoft makes bad stuff, but I prefer Logitech more to some extend.

Both Microsoft and Logitech keyboards are crap, get yourself a nice IBM keyboard, they're much better.

I have to agree with you Rigoletto, I purchased a mskeypro and when I first typed with it at the store it was fairly smoth keystrokes, but now they are kinda hard and even noisy. I had the original msnatural keyboard and it was built much better, why did MS cheap out on this board, I feel like I have been had, I ruined the box so I can't bring it back. I am now typing on a compaq despro keyboard and I am surprised at how smoth and quiet this keyboard is.

My (2) MS Internet keyboards work like a champ. I think you got a dud Rigoletto.
