cheap motherboards?

I'm considering building a computer. I'm getting a case from a friend and my next step will be to find a motherboard. Though my budget is very close to nil. Is there such places that sell motherboards (decent) for close to dirt cheap? Can you guys give me some suggestions? Thanks!

if you're going with an Intel cpu, any I810 based motherboard is cheap(read this months Value System Guide on Anandtech's main page, and look at the Value SOHO)
 
If it is an AT case throw it away. Don't buy an old of date AT motherboard just because you have a free case. There are almost no AT boards that are't old news. R.
