I have an X2 (either 90 nm or 65, I forget) that the motherboard just died on me. It's a basic web-surfing machine only so I don't want to upgrade to anything new. What's a good, cheap ($50) motherboard that you recommend?
Thanks - I was fearing the Foxconn's so I'll check that out. For the 65, I was referring to the Brisbanes which were 65nm. I have one of each (90 and 65) and I'm not sure which machine I put which in.

You better find out if you have a socket 939 X2 or an AM2. If it is 939 you won't find a new board for it. Take a side panel off and look at the board so you know what you have first.
